Interton VC-4000 Strange Cartridge PCBs or Kits?

I found a couple of strange Interton cartridge pcb´s on ebay lately (click pictures for larger size). Cartridge numbers are: 2, 3, 7, 5, 8, 12, 18, 19, 20, 21, 23, 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33 & 38. The measures of the pcb´s are bigger than those of the original cartridges. Could anyone tell about the origin of these cartridge boards. Are these prototypes or homebrews?

UPDATE (May 2008).
We found another couple of these carts, some inside of small plastic bags of distributors of electronical parts. so it seems that these PCBs could be ordered without there plastic cartridge casings from companies that were specialized on electronical parts and PCBs. Please check pictures below (click on thumbnails to get a larger view):

Please note the writing on the left side of the pcbs "Tele Spiel 4000" which is a clear hint that they were made for the VC 4000 system. It is not confirmed if these pcbs came completely assembled or had to be put together by the buyer. 2 different pcb types are in our collection, one with the "Tele Spiel 4000" writing and one without. Also we found no hint about the year these pcbs were sold. Maybe they were sold later after Interton stopped their sales of the original carts.

Please also check our other finds that seem to confirm this assumption.
