Die (ITT) Ideal Computer Tele-Match Pong Fernseher Einsteckmodule

In the late 70ties the well known German company ITT created Pong systems that could be plugged inside the remote control slot of their "Ideal Color" TV models. These Pong systems were released under three different brands: ITT, Graetz and Ingelen (an Austrian company that distributed ITT electronics and TV Sets)

These Tele-Match "Cassettes" were released in nice green boxes.
Inside there were brown plastic boxes with styrofoam inlays.

4 different modules were released.
Besides the 2 Pong modules (Module 1 & 2) also Tank (3) & Motorcycle (4) modules were available.

Controllers were different for each one of the modules.
Both, Cassette 1 & 2 allowed to move player horizontal and vertical. Cassette 2 came with 2 buttons on each controller (Start & Reset) while Cassette 1 only provided one button (Reset).
The controllers for Cassette 3 use the same housings than those of the legendary ITT Tele-Match Processor and the Saba Videoplay 2 (both are German Fairchild Channel F variants).
Cassette 4 came with one controller only cause the Motorbike games were single player games.

Strangely these 4 modules were also released as A, B, C, D of which only B & C surfaced so far.

Please note the different colors of the controller's casing compared with their "number equivalent"

Early models weren't sold in the typical green boxes but in brown boxes showing the two brands they were released under on one of the sides of each box (ITT & Graetz). Please note these modules only provided 4 games, also the paddles can only move vertically.

The layout on the sides of each box showed people dressed in typical classic 70ties style.

The back of the boxes showed the provided games that were included in each "cassette".

Another side of the boxes displayed the TV models these modules fit in.

We found another tele-match system in France which came with a French manual. In fact it is Cassette 2 but the writing "Ideal Computer" is missing, so this was probably sold for a different TV model. (Picture will be shown here soon)
