Telefunken (TEK Electronics PTY Ltd.) CreatiVision Personal Computing System (RPA 010/1500)

Probably one of greatest video game systems of the 8-bit generation ever made, the Creativision is one of the most sought after sytems now. Not many different games were available for this systems but most of them provide a very high level of graphic display for that time. Also the system provides a big catalog of accessory for example a keyboard, a printer interface, a memory extension module, a parallel interface, the cassette storage module and some other accessory therefore it could be compared with systems like Mattel´s Intelllivision or Coleco´s Adam that mark the transition from Home-Video-Game-System to Home Computers.

The Creativision had it´s origin in Hong Kong and was sold under some different brands, for example Zanussi in Italy, Dick Smith (Wizzard) in Australia. Also a slightly modified version was sold in Australia too as the Hanimex Rameses. And we know of another Creativision clone that was sold as Funvision. Here is a Creativision system sold under the German brand Telefunken in South Africa! Thanks to Paul Rahme for this picture.
