Eurocon is probably the most long-established convention for classic games fans in Europe. This year's event in England will be the sixth to be held since the inaugural convention in 1999 in the Netherlands. Here's a roll call of all the Eurocons held to date:-

Eurocon is a place where classic games fans can socialise, chat, play, sell and trade games, and enjoy a few beers together. The conventions are small in size (usually around 30 people attend the full weekend) which means that everyone really gets to know each other. Lots of classic games fans are used to communicating via email, or via message boards at sites like www.digitpress.com or www.atariage.com - well, here is your chance to meet some like-minded people face to face. Eurocon attendees generally have a broad range of interests - some are heavily into collecting, others are more into gameplaying, some are into just one or two systems while others have more eclectic tastes ... but what unites us all is a love and appreciation of great videogames.
A typical Eurocon weekend will usually include some if not all of the following activities: gaming contests, a sale and trade session (also open to the public), an auction, a quiz, a "show and tell" session (where a collector talks about a centrepiece of their collection), and a night out on the town.
