Very heavy and big Fairchild Channel F clone made by Saba Germany. This has a quite ugly black plastic design and looks completely different than the original system produced by Fairchild. It uses almost the same cartridges but provides only 19 than the 26 titles that once were produced by Fairchild plus a nice chess game. 2 of the games are slightly different (tic-tac-toe and hangman) using German words or comments and the scaffold was deleted (hangman). The Saba Videoplay is one of the earliest cartridge based Non-Pong systems.
Saba produced 2 different systems, the Videoplay and the Videoplay 2 which offered different controllers (the same than the ones used for the Telematch Processor - another german Channel F clone produced by ITT). Thanks to Frederic CJ Blåholtz from Sweden for corrections.
