We're unlikely to find out much just by looking at the cartridge. These carts need to be DUMPED. Whether prototype or homebrew they have definitely not been dumped, which is reason enough for doing so. Also, examination and comparison of the dumps against other dumped Interton games will provide the answers you are seeking. I am willing to undertake this work (comparison/validation/disassembly), however I don't have any dumping hardware myself, although I could put you in touch with people who could dump it for you if you aren't confident about doing this yourself.
