Me and my brother got the Videomaster Home TV Game MKII as a christmas gift in 1976. We played it like crazy and all of our friends went crazy about visiting, and of course playing squash, tennis or football. The game consol looks really great in it's broze metal casing, and the cardboard box is very stylish as well!
Today, in april 2010, i decided to give the game a try. It wasn't that easy, my flatscreen LCD-TV didnt seem to be able to sync the signal. Then I tried an old CRT-TV and behold, a couple of minutes later I was playing tennis again!
The joystick is really neat, one knob for up & down, the other for left & right. There's no button for starting, you just wait for the ball to get in play! Also I remember it didn't take me and my brother that long to get jealous about other friends videogames because there was a scoreboard, a thing that sometimes is missed on the Videomaster Home TV Game.
But I must confess that I'm very impressed that the game is still working after 35 years! And it was still veru fun to play!
